Join the Grandparents Circle Course at the Jewish Community Center

First session on January 12 at 11am at the JCC, 1200 Edgewood Avenue

The Grandparents Circle is...

A FREE five-session program for Jewish grandparents whose children are intermarried that offers participants skills and techniques to share their Jewish heritages and nurture their interfaith grandchildren's Jewish identities.

An Online Community that allows grandparents to share their experiences with others. Sign up for the Grandparents Circle Online Community by emailing Marley Weiner at MWeiner@JOI.org.

Family Fun events surrounding the holidays that grandparents can invite their grandchildren to attend.

Community Bereavement Group at Temple Beth El

We are pleased to announce a new community bereavement group designed to provide those who are in mourning emotional, spiritual and non-judgemental support in a safe and welcoming environment.

Participants will find:

• a place to combat isolation and loneliness
• an opportunity to share and listen
• techniques to cope and grow
• new connections and opportunites

Facilitated By: Dr. Kimberly D. Kalish, Ph.D., Director of Clinical Services at Jewish Family Service.

Meeting Dates: 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month. NOTE: Due to the holidays, there are no more meetings in December. The next meeting will be held on January 6, 2012.

Time: 12:00 - 1:00 PM

This group is free of charge and open to those in the Community who are experiencing the loss of someone close to them.
